How do you use Za'atar?

 

It's traditionally eaten for breakfast mixed with oil and spread over fresh bread. It's delicious sprinkled as a seasoning over many foods like baked vegetables, eggs, cheese, hommus, rice, tofu, lamb, fish and chicken. Also makes a quick salad dressing or superb marinade when mixed with fresh garlic, rosemary and salt.

Storage:

 

Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

 

Shelf Life:

 

Up to 12 months in pantry. Can be stored in fridge or freezer for longer shelf life.
